Make A Contribution to New Workplace Institute

The New Workplace Institute is a grassroots non-profit organization, launched with very modest funds. At this juncture, no one receives a salary for the work they are doing on behalf of the Institute. We believe we can be effective and economical, but contributions are needed presently, and we have plans that will require a larger funding base.

The New Workplace Institute has been incorporated as a non-profit corporation under the General Laws of Massachusetts. We are making an application to the federal Internal Revenue Service for tax-exempt status, which will allow contributors to deduct their contributions directly. For now, contributions made out directly to the New Workplace Institute are not tax-deductible.

In the meantime, Suffolk University, David Yamada’s employer, has agreed to accept contributions on behalf of the Institute, and 100 percent of contributions made in this manner will be forwarded directly to the Institute. Those who wish to make a tax-deductible contribution may do so by making a check payable to “Suffolk University” and putting “New Workplace Institute” on the memo line and sending it to the Institute at:

New Workplace Institute
167 Chestnut Ave., No. 2
Jamaica Plain, MA 02130

We are planning more organized fundraising activities and appeals. In the meantime, if you are interested in making a larger contribution to the Institute, especially one supporting a specific initiative, please contact David Yamada directly at info@newworkplaceinstitute.org or call him at 617-573-8543.
