About the New Workplace Institute

The New Workplace Institute is a new, multidisciplinary, non-profit, research and
education center promoting healthy, productive, and socially responsible workplaces.
The Institute has been founded upon the conviction that employee dignity and
responsiveness to the community should be among the core values of any workplace, whether it be in the private, public, or non-profit sector.

Leadership

David Yamada, a law professor and one of the nation’s leading authorities on workplace bullying and abusive work environments, is the President of the New Workplace Institute.

Other members of our Founding Board of Directors include Denise Doherty (Vice President), Evelyn Haralampu (Treasurer), Gisele Michel, Jeffrey Rosin, Ann Rudy, and James Whitters.

We also are assembling an Advisory Committee of distinguished practitioners and scholars in employment relations, business management, and non-profit and civic leadership.
